There’s been a lot of talk in Charlotte lately about the need to ramp up security and law enforcement after a series of high-profile crimes.

When it comes to enforcing North Carolina’s alcohol laws, though, rest assured that law enforcement and state regulators are ON IT.

It’s time once again for our popular feature combing through the files of the N.C. ABC Commission to reveal the highlights of hot ABC enforcement action against Charlotte businesses.

Today’s installment takes us to uptown. Records show that, at 6:40 p.m. on March 15, Mecklenburg County ABC Law Enforcement agents descended upon the Encore nightclub on College Street for a routine inspection.
