‘Thank goodness those walls can’t talk’: UNC Charlotte tears down 11-story dorm built in 1969

Crews at UNC Charlotte have started demolishing Sanford Hall, an 11-story residential tower in the university’s South Village area that was built in 1969. The site will be landscaped and replaced with open space.
