If you’re planning to scream your way through SCarowinds this fall, you might want to bring a little extra cash in your back pocket. For the first time, Carowinds is charging an additional $10 for its “Haunted Attractions,” the signature mazes and haunted houses that have been a staple of the Halloween event for years.

It’s not unusual in the theme park world — Disney World, Universal Studios and others have long charged extra for Halloween events. Still, SCarowinds fans are not thrilled, taking to Reddit and saying things like “they are nickel and diming us” and “this is a new low.”
