CMS paid $379,000 for its investigation into Crystal Hill. But there appears to be no written report of the investigators’ conclusions.

The law firm hired by Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools that led the $379,000 investigation this summer into then-Superintendent Crystal Hill conducted 86 interviews and pored over 1.5 million documents.

One thing it did not do, however, was provide the board with a written report of its findings. The school board didn’t ask it to.
