CMS says it has no records showing what consultants produced on two closely scrutinized projects

No records exist of Raki McGregor’s work or of a $220,000 law-firm complicance assessmentm, CMS says.

It’s good work if you can get it: landing a lucrative contract that leaves the client with no records of what you produced.
Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools says it has no records of anything produced by consultant Raki McGregor and his company, Qonnect LLC, in connection with the project to build affordable housing for teachers – the ostensible topic that Raleigh law firm Poyner Spruill hired him at $30,000 a month in March to consult on.
Oh, and CMS also says it has no records of a work product from the “compliance assessment” Poyner Spruill was supposed to conduct this summer. CMS agreed to pay Poyner Spruill $220,000 for that work, with $132,000 allocated to a subcontract with McGregor's company.
